Kristin Cavallari (22) gaan Lauren Conrad (23) vervangen in The Hills. De actrice is vanaf de herfst te zien in het zesde seizoen van het MTV-programma. Lauren, om wie de serie in eerste instantie draaide, maakte in april bekend dat ze er na vijf seizoenen mee op ging houden.

Kristin en Lauren zijn geen onbekenden van elkaar. De twee waren eerder te zien in de voorloper van de The Hills, Laguna Beach, waarin Kristin een relatie kreeg met een ex van LC. "Ik ben heel anders dan Lauren", zegt de blonde actrice, die onder meer in de film Wild Cherry speelde en een gastrol had in de tv-serie CSI: NY. "Ik heb veel meer energie, ben extraverter en ben wat spontaner." Naast Kristin zijn de voor de vaste kijker vertrouwde gezichten van Heidi, Spencer, Audrina, Brody, Stephanie, Lo en Justin ook weer te zien.
